Basketball

Did you know that Kansas City has hosted the Annual NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship for what will be the 74th time? Nearly 40,000 will pack Municipal Auditorium March 20-26 for the championship. It’s a perfect way to kick off the spring season!

Speaking of college basketball, we’re also home to the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Midwest Regional March 29 and 31st at the Sprint Center! If you’ve never been to one of these games, you’re missing out; the Sprint Center is turned into a basketball fan’s dream and the competition is fierce.

PBR

Looking for an action-packed sporting event that’ll keep the entire family entertained? Professional Bull Riders comes to the Sprint Center March 23-24 for the Unleash The Beast Series for the 17th year in a row. If you’ve never attended a PBR event, you’ll definitely want to experience one!

Royals Opening Day

Duffy, Lopez and Merrifield are gearing up for Opening Day on March 28 at Kauffman Stadium! There’s nothing like Opening Day to get you riled up for the spring season. Nothing screams springtime like chanting “Let’s Go Royals” at Kauffman Stadium!

Soccer

Sporting Kansas City just kicked off their 2019 season. There are plenty of home games to attend this spring, perfect for a family outing! Children’s Mercy Park is the place to be on game day; you get to enjoy the beautiful, fresh spring air and the warmer temperatures while cheering on our local major league soccer team.
