Diane Forgy, owner and President, gave her parents the idea to start a limousine service as a teenager. Diane wore many hats in the early days when she began to take over the day to day operations. As the business grew she strategically added key staff and adopted a number of technologies to help the business run most efficiently. Most importantly Diane developed a culture of excellence, respect, extreme work ethic, “make it happen” mentality, and constant innovation. Never one to cut corners, Diane was always looking for ways to differentiate Overland from the competition. This shows in every aspect of the operation: quality and tenure of the staff, condition and quality of the fleet, extensive investment in technology and safety features, development of talented management and sophisticated procedures and systems that assure a near flawless delivery of service every time.
Diane is highly regarded in the chauffeured transportation industry and has been a multi-term board of director of the National Limousine Association (NLA) since 2003. She has held a number of officer positions including Treasurer (two years), First Vice President (2 years) and President (3 years, 2010 – 2012). She is also a member of elite industry peer groups crafted after the automotive industry’s “twenty group” concept. These invitation-only groups are made up of some of the most successful and sophisticated operators in the country. Many members have won national service awards, served on various boards, been featured expert speakers at industry trade shows and are generally considered operators that set the highest standards in the industry.
For twelve consecutive years, Overland Limousine has been voted Ingram’s Magazine Gold Award winner for “Best Ground Transportation Service” in Kansas City. In addition, Overland is a two-time recipient of Luxury, Charter & Tour (LCT) Magazine’s prestigious “Operator of the Year” award.
