The award honors excellence in management leadership, community service and industry involvement, staff training, fleet safety, and innovation among companies in the chauffeured transportation industry. LCT Magazine is the leading business publication in the chauffeured transportation industry, and its annual LCT International Show is the most-attended industry event of the year. Industry Involvement & Achievement
In 2003, our President, Diane Forgy , was elected to her first three-year term of the Board of Directors of the National Limousine Association (NLA).  She served as Treasurer in 2004 & 2005.  In 2006, Diane was re-elected for another three-year term and is currently serving as First Vice-President.  The NLA is committed to furthering the interests of the chauffeured transportation industry through education, lobbying efforts and by promoting the use of chauffeured luxury transportation to the general public. Since June 2004, Overland Limousine has been a member of the Limousine Success Group, made up of 16 of the top operators in the U.S. and Canada who meet regularly to share best business practices, benchmark performance and to push each other to achieve our goals for success.  Overland Limousine was pleased to host their June 2006 meeting in Kansas City and invite their peers to critique the operation first hand.  Much insight was gained and we are a better company through the support of this group.  After the meeting, our facilitator and industry consultant, Tom Mazza, conducted two chauffeur training sessions.  We were pleased with Tom's comments after the meeting: “Diane was a wonderful host. Her chauffeurs and staff impressed the heck out of all of us. She made the comment that she has "a lot to learn." WE learned a lot from her. Namely, employee retention! Diane has 15 chauffeurs (roughly half) with more than 5 years of service. I interviewed her chauffeur and dispatch staffs and NEVER have I seen a better relationship. She also has longevity in her internal staff and all this translates to quality service to her clients.
